StadtGalerie Velbert

StadtGalerie Velbert is the new key component of the upgraded town district located around Europaplatz square and Am Offers square. With approximately 14,000 m² of retail and food service space, the concept is tailored to Velbert’s needs and has been optimally incorporated into the town centre structures. Intelligent use of the gradient at the site has allowed for ground-level access to both of the shopping centre’s levels, making it wheelchair-accessible both from the pedestrian zone and from Europaplatz square. An attractive architectural element – a sandstone portal which extends into the pedestrian zone – serves to heighten the visibility of the property and of the district in general, welcome passers-by and lead them directly into the shopping mall. In addition, it comfortably boasts the most parking in Velbert, with around 500 spaces on the parking level and in the connected multi-storey car park.
