QUINCY in Cologne defies the crisis – 1,700 sqm rented during Corona

Despite the dark clouds in the retail world, CONCEPTA managed to carry out extensive new rentals in QUINCY in Cologne even during the corona crisis.

As part of the realignment of the tenant mix, perfectly suitable tenants could be found. Netto already opened on 750 sqm, with lots of convenience products and self-scanning cash registers providing the right range for this inner-city location. This basic food range is supplemented by a high-quality Turkish supermarket from the Karadag Group, which is already represented nine times in Cologne. A competent, Turkish assortment with a qualitative focus on meat products is offered on an area of more than 600 sqm. Furthermore, a Mediterranean salad bowl concept is moving into a 100 sqm shop. There has already been a report on the Mercato-Italiano, where build-out works are quickly moving forward and where various Italian manufacturers will produce directly on site. Customers can either enjoy the specialties on site or take them home with them. Thus in the near future, QUINCY customers  will find numerous, completely different food offers from different countries under the motto “feel and eat global”.

The current leases are rounded off by an Adidas outlet store on an area of 250 sqm facing Breite Strasse.
