The second anchor tenant in the basement of QUINCY, Smyths Toys, opens the doors to its new superstore and first outlet in Cologne city centre tomorrow on 8 August 2019. Breite Straße is going to be an even more popular shopping destination for toy fans now. The Smyths Toys store is over 2,000 sqm in size and offers customers a comprehensive range of products in the segments of toys, outdoor, multimedia and baby. “Smyths Toys’ web shop, supplementing the brick-and-mortar store, is the perfect fit for the QUINCY ‘smarter shopping’ strategy, which combines online and offline retail,” said Timo Wendlandt, Head of Asset Management at CONCEPTA. The other basement tenants are DECATHLON and bakery products retailer Kamps. Now that Smyths Toys has moved in the basement is fully let and entirely in use, and the comprehensive refurbishment measures on this level are near completion.
