As part of a comprehensive facade renovation, the existing natural stone exterior of the architecturally and functionally sophisticated mixed-use property QUINCY has been completely renewed. In close coordination with the responsible architects, the building’s envelope underwent a design and technical upgrade through the use of high-quality natural stone cladding.

The project’s implementation was characterized by several complex constraints. In particular, the high dead weight of the stone slabs and the specific materiality placed increased demands on planning, structural engineering, and fastening technology. Additionally, the confined inner-city conditions complicated logistics and assembly. Another major challenge was carrying out the renovation measures while ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the retail spaces on the ground and upper floors.

Through detailed preliminary planning, precise coordination of all trades, and a phased execution, the project was nevertheless completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The result is a modern, durable, and high-quality facade solution that allows the building to shine in new splendor today, sustainably fulfilling both architectural standards and functional and safety-related requirements.
