QUINCY Cologne among the top 6 in the Savills cluster study on the repositioning needs of shopping centers

Over the past few months, Savills and IPH have analyzed 485 properties and specifically evaluated 347 as part of a comprehensive cluster analysis on the repositioning needs of German shopping centers. The mixed-use inner-city district QUINCY in Cologne performed exceptionally well and, with a growing population forecast, low vacancy rates, and a resilient mix of industries, is one of only six German shopping centers in the best cluster. “We are very proud of the result, as it documents the successful transformation process from the former DuMont Carré with its high vacancy rates to the resilient mixed-use property QUINCY,” said Dr. Björn Isenhöfer, managing partner of CONCEPTA, which has been investing in the property together with Tristan Capital Partners since 2017 and is responsible for the transformation as asset manager.
